I went grocery shopping this afternoon, the commissary was busy as I suspected. I mean, it is military pay weekend after all! But pickins were slim around the house so I had to get it done. I got so much, I wanted to stock up a bit on some things and boy was that cart very heavy to push by the time I got to the check out line. An older couple were behind me and the man asked jokingly if I was buying for a family of 5. I was a little annoyed because I was hurting and just wanted to sit down, but I replied pleasantly and said I was just stocking up so I wouldn't have to come back for a while. Once I got home, Mr brought in the groceries for me and I put away the cold stuff. I left the rest out so Dillon could help me when he got up from his nap. He likes to help and I surely do not mind his help, it saves me from having to constantly bend down to the floor and stand up.
Now I am trying to rest with my feet up because my lower back, hips, legs and knees are hurting very badly from my shopping expedition. I did want to go to Target to get some Tylenol PM, which I forgot while grocery shopping, but I am not going anywhere else tonight. I still have to make my chicken noodle soup. I told Mr I would make it for dinner...I just haven't gotten around to doing so yet. He's asleep anyways and I know he won't be hungry right when he wakes up. Besides, Dillon already ate dinner and I had some snacks later in the afternoon so I'm not really hungry just yet. Thankfully the soup doesn't take long!
Hopefully Dillon goes to bed this evening, better than he did last night. He asked me again today to go to school. This time he said "go, scoo, peese" (school, please), so that was very exciting! Usually he just says school, I repeat it and then he says car or bye. He actually made a small sentance today so I am excited to include that in his notebook tomorrow night when I write to his teacher! I told him one more day and then he can go to school, he wasn't happy but it wasn't a meltdown like the other days he has asked since on winter break.
I guess I am off to work on the baby's blanket for a bit and rest up some more before I start the soup. Boog goes to bed in an hour and a half, then I will get to go to bed shortly after. I'm so tired.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe weekend!

Yay for more nursery purchases! That bedding is adorable!
