I have been meaning to write a blog, but I have just not had the energy to do so once nighttime comes. I prefer writing in the evening, after the day is done, so I won't forget anything that has happened. You can see how successful that has been...
On Monday evening, Dillon did something very exciting! He acknowledged going poopoo and peepee for the first time. Granted he pooped in his diaper and peed a little on the stairs, but those aren't important right now.
I had been working on the baby's blanket and saw Dillon scooting his butt across the floor. I asked him what he was doing, he looked at me and said "poopoo." I instantly stopped and looked at him and asked him if he had went poopoo and he said "poopoo" again. I was estatic! I've been trying for the longest time to get him to tell me when he has gone poop and he did so without me even asking first! Once I cleaned him off, I left him bottomless and went to grab a towel so we could take a shower. He was standing on the first landing on the stairs, looking down at a small dark spot on the carpet. I turned on the light and asked if he had went peepee on the floor and he looked sort of ashamed and said "peepee." I told him it was ok because it wasn't much and cleaned up easily. I gave him tons of praise both times he said the words, it was very exciting!
He went back to school on Tuesday, very excited might I add. Today, not so much. He practically ripped my skin off when I dropped him off, but it was a very off morning for him. He woke up extremely early, was very uncooperative all morning before going to school and I knew he was still tired. Why he woke up over an hour early, I'll never know. But when I picked him up he was fine. He had just woken up from his nap before the class lets out.
I had a check up today. I have been having a lot of pressure and pain so I was quite anxious to ask the dr about it. Apparently the baby's head is in my pelvis so that is the cause of all my pain and pressure, so nothing can be done. Basically I have to suffer and keep taking Tylenol or Tylenol PM. I gained 2 pounds since I weighed myself two weeks ago, so total weight gain at 31 weeks 3 days has been 18 pounds. Not bad at all considering that I am technically clinically obese. According to my dr and her stupid charts.
I think that's about it. I've lost my train of thought because everyone is asking something of me, Dillon for a snack, Mr for an early dinner. Is it bedtime yet?
