Busy Day

It has been a very busy day, it's already 8 pm and I'm just now getting time to sit and blog!

Yesterday, Dillon's ot therapist called and rescheduled his last ot session for today (that she had cancelled on Monday). Since that was at 1 pm, that meant either no nap or else a later one (which we both ended up taking a later nap-thankfully). So after breakfast, I hopped in the shower while Boog watched cartoons and then we got ready and went on some errands. We got a few things at Target then I had to run home and put away the freezer stuff. Then we ran to the commissary and got a few things there. Dillon was absolutely wonderful in both stores!

When we got home and I got everything put away, I did dishes, cleaned the kitchen and then we had lunch. After lunch, I made some mini chocolate chip cookies and started making Mr's dinner for work tonight. Then Avis arrived for Dilly's ot session at 1.

I am sad it was his last ot session, but he made it a great one! They did a craft together and Dillon did puzzles and played with pretend food. The craft was Spongebob with a party hat and balloon for Dillon's coming birthday. He did great with the glue and it turned out wonderful!! I can't wait to hang it up for everyone to see!

Tomorrow marks 18 weeks gestation. What a fast 18 weeks it has been! I have to take my bi-weekly belly photo and I also have a class at the Army hospital at 10:30 am. I am considering having my tubes tied after I have this baby and attending the tubal ligation class is a requirement apparently. I will also have to take a vbac class once the dr gets my op report from my c-section I had with Dillon. I am anxious and excited to learn about both tubal ligation and eventually vbacs. I'm glad they make you take classes for those things.

Dillon's birthday is approaching faster than ever, only three more days. And not even three whole days, he was born at 1:20 am on the 9th. I am so happy that both our care coordinator and his ot therapist will be coming to the small party we're having for him. There won't be other children so I wanted to have adults that he loves and enjoys seeing, come to the party. I'm excited for him to open his presents and I can't wait to take some photos too. I have an album that I take photos of him every month since he was born. This will be the last monthly photo though, now it will be every 6 months for a year or two, then just every year. It might seem like a lot, but it's amazing to see how much he's grown each month since he was born.
