Exhausted Is My Middle Name

Another exhausting day even though I only left the house during the late morning. I went to the tubal ligation class and was extremely disappointed there was not more information given. The majority of what the nurse discussed I already knew, but I did learn a few new things. I think they should have went into much more detail about the risks and odds of conception after sterilization, because we all know someone who knows someone that got pregnant after having their tubes tied. I am even more undecided than I was before the class...thankfully I have plenty of time to figure it out.

18 weeks today, it's gone so fast. I took another progression photo and you can see a small bump poking out. It is kind of higher up, near by belly button. I hope that means girl, according to the old wives tale. We'll find out in two and half more weeks, hopefully.

Less than two whole days until Dillon turns 3, I am not ready! My baby is growing too fast, I wish I could make time go slower. You know, like when you play a movie in slo-mo. If only life had a slo-mo button. His last two year molar is almost completely cut so that is exciting! He's been cranky and sleepy from it lately, not to mention I think he's going through a growth spurt. He's about due for one.

I have been looking at baby names, for a girl. I proposed a boy name to Mr and he didn't say yes, but he didn't say no. So if it ends up being a boy, I hope we use that name. Although if it's a boy he would probably say no just to spite me because he wants a girl! I found one last night to add to my small list, four names total. One of which he's already said no to, but it will stay on the list just incase. He's kind of making it not fun because everything I present gets a "no" immediately. I don't understand why he is being so picky! It wasn't this bad when we looked at names for Dillon. Well...it kind of was I guess. We waited until we knew what the sex was before we even talked about names. I wish we had just waited from the start this time around also. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to suggest calling the baby girl if it's a girl and boy if it's a boy.

I can't wait for you to find out boy or girl!!! So exciting...don't worry, once you know you can focus on either side and hopefully it will be easier! Love ya! Kelly

  2. Am enjoying your Blog. Keep them coming. You are doing a great job, Christina. I am sure that Dillon and the new baby will enjoy reading them when they are older. Hugs to you.
